MODISTE is a Synth Pop Trio based out of Louisville, KY.
Using primarily analog and digital instruments, mostly from the 1980s-90s, they have a sound that is both eerily familiar yet also refreshingly novel. Their spellbinding live performance is an A/V lovers dream, often featuring synced lights, glitch visuals, CRT TVs, props, and avant garde fashion — and is absolutely not to be missed.
MODISTE just released their highly anticipated debut album “Nothing More Than A Machine”.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their debut album “Fever Daydream”, THE BLACK QUEEN is heading out on a second US tour in the fall of 2026. Featuring Greg Puciato (Better Lovers, Dillinger Escape Plan), Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails), multi-instrumentalist and acclaimed technician Steve Ryan (Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle) and Chris Pennie (original DEP drummer), this current iteration of THE BLACK QUEEN will present a full-album play of “Fever Daydream”, a few other tracks and surprises, plus exclusive merch available only at the live shows.
